ESP Standard Series Formula FR II - made in Japan with the utmost care and attention to detail one would expect from ESP.

The features of this guitar really speak for themselves with a Set Thru Neck construction visible through the transparent finish on the back of the instrument. This aids sustain and of course makes high fret access totally unhindered for lead playing. The top is high grade quilted maple

In addition, the necks on all the Japanese ESPs are simply outstanding. The Thin-U shaped neck is as smooth as silk all round and the Ebony fret board is gorgeous and very very smooth. The guitar is also equipped with excellent quality Gotoh tuners and of course the original Floyd Rose locking tremolo system.

Pick ups are provided by Seymour Duncan by way of a TB-4 "JB" in the bridge which is great for heavy blues to heavy rock - plenty of output while retaining the clear highs and agressive harmonics. This is thoughtfully paired with a SH-1 "59 Model" pick up in the neck position which gives the the player access to warmer clean tones and full/rounded distortion sounds giving the instrument great versatility and quality no matter the style being played.

The Formula FR II is a serious players guitar built to a very high specification and will never let you down whether on stage or in the studio.
