SLAYER, TESTAMENT, ARCH ENEMY, SCORPIONS Members To Take Part In 'NAMM Jam'

Revolver magazine will present the "Dean Guitars 2010 NAMM Jam" concert — featuring COLLECTIVE SOUL, L.A. GUNS, as well as members of SLAYER, ARCH ENEMY, TESTAMENT, and more — on January 15 at The Grove Of Anaheim in Southern California. Tickets for this special show, hosted by Vinnie Paul Abbott (PANTERA, DAMAGEPLAN, HELLYEAH), will be given away to Winter NAMM attendees during the annual music conference held at the Anaheim Convention Center. Doors open at 6 p.m., with music starting at 7 p.m..
Revolver magazine will have a booth at the show where it will be giving away free copies of the January/February 2010 PANTERA "Vulgar Display Of Power" commemorative issue, celebrating guitarist "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott five years after his death.
In addition to L.A. GUNS and headliners COLLECTIVE SOUL, the "Dean Guitars 2010 NAMM Jam" will feature performances from TEXAS HIPPIE COALITION, Uli Jon Roth & Friends, Michael Angelo Batio and Carmine Appice's SLAMM. The night will culminate with a midnight all-star jam featuring past, present and future legends such as Mike Amott (ARCH ENEMY, CARCASS), Eric Peterson (TESTAMENT), Dave Lombardo (SLAYER), Don Dokken (DOKKEN), Warren DiMartini (RATT), Uli Jon Roth (SCORPIONS), James Kottak (SCORPIONS), Gus G. (OZZY OSBOURNE, FIREWIND) and many more.

QUEENSRÿCHE and Ford have teamed up for over two dozen dates beginning October 15. Lita is hitting the stage during the QUEENSRÿCHE set to perform three songs, including "Close My Eyes Forever", which she is singing with QUEENSRÿCHE frontman Geoff Tate. For all songs, Lita is being backed by QUEENSRÿCHE — Geoff Tate on vocals, Michael Wilton and Parker Lundgren on guitars, Eddie Jackson on bass and Scott Rockenfield on drums.

Slayer and Megadeth tour Australia in October 2009

Talk about a mind-blowing double-header. Slayer and Megadeth – two of the bands that defined the thrash/metal genre – will perform together for the first time ever in Australia and New Zealand when they co-headline six shows in October.
Both Slayer and Megadeth have recently emerged from the recording studio with brand new albums – Slayer’s World Painted Blood, due out later this year, and Megadeth’s Endgame set for a September 11th release.

Dream Theater Announce Australian Tour

After waiting for more than 20 years for them to tour, Australian Dream Theater fans were treated to their first live shows in January 2008, with their intense live performances proving beyond question that they were definitely worth the wait.
Now the metal masters return to Australia for a national tour this December. Their most recent album release, ‘Black Clouds & Silver Linings’ is an intense 70-minute progressive metal masterpiece. The time has come for Australian audiences to witness ‘Black Clouds & Silver Linings Tour’ for themselves – showcasing the band’s unique and powerful song-writing, live performance and virtuoso musicianship. Shock-rock god Alice Cooper is returning to Australia with his latest macabre musical creation - the Theatre of Death. Cooper, who has entered his fourth decade of performing, will bring his latest tour to Australian theatres in August on the back of his sold-out series of shows in 2008 and promises a new show brimming with "thrills and chills".
